The Kentucky Ornithological Society's Fall Meeting will be held this coming 
weekend at Natural Bridge State Resort Park, September 27-29, 2002 !

FRIDAY, September 27

4:00 pm  
Registration begins in the lobby ($5.00 Adults; $3.00 Students) 

7:30 pm  In the Activities Center
Speakers:
-Dave Roemer will present a powerpoint presentation of this year's nesting 
Scissor-Tailed Flycatcher along with other birds of interest seen in Kentucky 
this year.
-Lee McNeely will present a program on "Birding Ethics".

A Social will follow with Snacks/Drinks.  Meet new people and catch up with old 
friends! 

SATURDAY, September 28

8:00 am                            
Field Trips: 
Trip 1 - Red River Gorge Area  "Rock Bridge Trail" 
Leaders:  Joan Carr and Les Estep

Trip 2 - Red River Gorge Area
Leader:  Gerald Robe 

Trip 3 - Natural Bridge Lodge Area

Afternoon Program (Activities Center) 
-Gary Ritchison will present a talk entitled:  Male and Female Eastern 
Bluebirds:  Taking Care of Babies

Board Meeting

Evening Program : 
Denver Holt, founder and president of the Owl Research Institute in Montana, 
will be the guest speaker featuring his program "Adaptations of Owls".  His 
work and research with owls and their ecology is known internationally. For

A Short Business Meeting will follow  - Consideration of proposed changes to 
the Kentucky Ornithological Society Membership Dues and the annual Election of 
Officers
