Alison dropped a dish and broke it upon seeing our first RT Hummingbird of the
season at the kitchen window feeder yesterday afternoon. I saw it a little
later on, sitting on the clothes line. It was a male.
Our Barn Swallows and Chimney Swifts are back too.
All the farmers around here are replanting their corn, even though it was
re-emerging. Apparently they didn't think a high enough percentage of it was
going to re-emerge.
