Lots of Killdeer, few Great Blues, and Great Egrets. 3 Least Sandpipers. Horseshoe Road sloughWater level up into weeds. Only good habitat is at extreme NE and NW ends.
Wood Ducks 10 Mallards 25 Great Blue Herons 15 Great Egret 70 Semipalmated Plovers 10 Killdeer 75 Spotted Sandpiper 10 Solitary Sandpiper 3 Great Yellowlegs 1 (heard never seen) Semipalmated Sandpiper 1 Least Sandpipers 20 Short-billed Dowitcher 1 Mourning Doves 5 Yellow-billed Cuckoo 1 American Crows 15 Horned Larks 25 Tree Swallows 40 Northern Rough-winged Swallows 100 Bank Swallows 50 Barn Swallows 10 European Starlings 40 Song Sparrow 10 Indigo Bunting 20 Dickcissel 10 Red-winged Blackbird 20 American Goldfinch 1 Elsewhere thousands of swallows on power lines along 268 & 136 Red-tailed Hawks 3. 1 has been a regular along 268 slough.
