As Brainard noted a lot of rain at HRs. I was able to access via the north
road. The slough is now once again one long slough. Filled into the weeds with
water.
Naturally the shorebirds are absent except for a few Killdeer and 1 Spotted
Sandpiper.
Moving on KY1574 sloughs: only 2 were accessible with some Killdeer, 3 Canada
Geese and 1 Spotted Sandpiper. First Canada Geese I have seen recently.
Uniontown/Mt. Vernon Road slough just some Great Blue Herons and Killdeer.
Water up into the weeds.
I next drove out West Franklin Road: looks like very little rain fell there.
Overall we got quite a bit of rain, thunder, some cloud to cloud lightning from
3AM to about 8AM. But most was of the rain and power outages were in Indiana
