NO Great Egrets at the main Horseshoe Road slough.
Water levels way down. The NE end is down to 1 pool and a mud pool.
Very few shorebirds.
I did find 3 Snow Egrets in one of the HRs back sloughs.
The Great Egrets were all at another back slough.
The back sloughs are SE of the main HRs area and accessed via farm roads from
CR1574.
