We now have 2 sets of Harriers.. they were having a wonderful time in all this wind today!!! It amazes me how they can hover, especially in this wind! We were having 40mph wind gusts! We also saw a couple of Meadow Larks.. that's the only bird I can find that they might be.. if anyone else has any idea, let me know..they are bigger birds with yellow bellies and a big white rump. We flushed them out of the weeds as we drove by in our Bushhog. We also had a Bobcat run out in front of us.. normally all we see are their footprints! debi lucas greenup co. ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== The BIRDKY Mailing List requires you to sign your messages with first & last name, city, & state abbreviation. -------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Kentucky Ornithological Society web site at http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos.htm * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison, Richmond, KY E-mail: gary.ritchison@xxxxxxx
