A quick stop at KY Dam produced an Immature Laughing Gull and one SABINE'S Gull. The wind was howling and the light was terrible but the Sabine's was picked up in flight. They have a shallower wingbeat than the expected gulls in the area. Anyone looking for these gulls should scan the area in front of the houses on the west side. They have also been sitting on the spit in the same area. The Laughing Gull was resting with a group of Ring-billed gulls on the trestle above the railroad track.
