I put the kayak in at the Snake Creek Boat Ramp on the Green River today. That's a name that'll make you want to jump in for a swim.


Wood Ducks 20+
Double-crested Cormorants 8
Great Blue Heron 14
Great Egret 8
Green Heron 7
Black-crowned Night-Heron 1 adult
Cooper's Hawk
Red-shouldered Hawk 2
Broad-winged Hawk 7-8 (4 in a kettle that appeared to be migrating)
American Kestrel 1
Killdeer 33 (that other shorebird)
Spotted Sandpiper 2
Solitary Sandpiper 1
Least Sandpiper 1 juv
Pectoral Sandpiper 1
Belted Kingfisher 9-10
