The lakes and rivers are low and the dams are not generating or spilling. Very few gulls and only small numbers of divers are present. Most ducks were seen from Boyd's Landing and Eureka. Bufflehead was the only species of duck seen above KY dam. Highlights include. Gadwall 20 Mallard 2 Canvasback 5 Ring-n duck 50 Scaup sp 400 + Bufflehead 30+ Ruddy duck 200+ Common loon 2 Pied-b grebe 20 + Horned grebe 50 + Bonaparte's gull 10 Ring-b gull 200+ Herring gull 15 Rusty blackbird 10 Also saw the spotted towhee late yesterday afternoon at previous location.
