The number of snow geese in the fields of Fulton County was fantastic today.
We estimated no less than 8,000 birds spread out over a few fields. The
sight and sound of these birds heading North West at the end of the day was
something to remember.
Other birds seen included:
7 Ross's Goose
250 Greater-White Fronted Goose
200 Canada Goose
4 Northern Pintail
4 Hooded Merganser
3 Black Ducks
100 Mallards
2 American Wigeon
1 Green-winged Teal
20 Gadwall
10 Shoveler
3 Northern Harriers
4 Bald Eagles
2 Red Shouldered Hawks
3 Red Tailed Hawks
2 Loggerhead Shrike
1 Eastern Phoebe
