At dusk this evening, there is a large Empid fly-catching from the lower
branches of a large Post Oak tree in our yard. I'd probably call it a
Willow, if this were early July, just based on timing and location here in
SW Kentucky. I know little about when the other Empidonax Flycatchers may
begin migrating through here. Can anyone enlighten me? Could other large
Empids be moving through Logan County now?
