Another great bird day at work in the field. I heard, only, seeing as I was
working, after all:
Swainson’s warbler, ovenbird, worm-eating warbler, black and white warbler,
hooded warbler, prairie warbler, yellow warbler, yellow-throated warbler,
Acadian flycatcher, peewee, scarlet tanager, yellow-billed cuckoo. Surprised
that I did not hear black-throated green or Kentucky warbler. Maybe I was just
working too hard!

Stopped by Madison County Grasslands yesterday afternoon. Numerous
Dickcissels, at least 3 Grasshopper Sparrows and at least 5 Bobolinks
observed. Nice that this site has not been mowed.
