I got this exact same message from a friend about a year ago in regular email
(not a bird list) and she did not send it nor did she know anything about it.
too bad these people can't use their talents for something more constructive,

You are right; this is inappropriate.
Having agreed with that, I know Daniel Moss and he would not do this on
purpose. This has to be something sent by accident or a hijack of his
computer/email. Please delete and let us all go forward with the
realization that sometimes mistakes occur.
I once had a massive problem on TNBIRD (similar to above, must worse in that
multiple messages were sent) that was related to the opening of a bad
attachment from someone I thought was real. Things like that do happen and
I am sure that Daniel has either made an error or suffered a fate similar to
mine in the past.
I just wanted all to know that Daniel Moss is a responsible birder and
BIRDKY user.
