Walked down Watermelon Road again this afternoon so the return walk would take
me by the stable. Grasshopper Sparrow flushed from the right of way across the
road from the stable again and landed in a tree near the cracked corn. A rabbit
flushed from the stable lot and headed toward the house. Bridge took off after
it. Birds began to come down to the corn, including Grasshopper Sparrow. I
began snapping pictures while in the distance Bridge barked at some briar
patch. A Brown Thrasher hopped along in the Green Briar by the disc mower - the
first one I've seen this winter. Rabbit came hopping back through the stable
with Bridge close behind. Everybody took to cover but I got some better shots
than this morning. 3 pics with ebird report.
