I'm beside myself to report seeing 2 bobwhite we flushed upon exiting a
friend's friend's farm this morning.
A very present childhood constant has become an increasingly diminished
presence for me and I'm just ever so happy to see them again!!
Also had Whippoorwill here at the house this past week for 2 nights in a
row--it's been at least 10 yrs. + since I've heard that guy!!! I always think
I'll hear him backpacking into natural bridge and red river gorge--but it's
been a while since I've last herd him as well! These are just my super exciting
birds for the week!!
