After a sleepless night I got up early and hit Blue Licks SP on my way to work - sure, it was a little out of the way. Several Indigo Buntings. Blue Grosbeak 1 male, first heard and then located at the top of an ash tree, nearly beside a singing Indigo Bunting. other highlights Magnolia Warbler 1 singing male At Lake Carnico I saw a Spotted Sandpiper teetering around the dock. Yesterday evening on a Farm in Woodford County near the Franklin County line I saw Veery Blackpoll Warbler Palm Warbler C. Yellowthroat E. Pewee Baltimore Oriole (also found a Cave Salamander, neat little guy!) This evening is same location Palm Warbler Yellow-rumped Warbler Sunday evening I heard and saw a nighthawk in Bourbon County.
