I teamed up with Mammoth Cave NP rangers Jeff Rose and Jim Jarvis for several
hours today, first around the park, then at the Dog Creek Campground and Wax
marina on Nolin Lake. Highlights included osprey, FOS pewee, and 19 warbler
spp., with singing Tennessees and blackpolls and a showy blackburnian warbler.
We ended up with 80 species on the morning.
