Few of us will ever be able to travel to where these birds on this Rockjumper
site are found, but these are incredible birds that would be nice to have in
our back yard, eh.
Every so often there is a birding presentation at the Spacecoast Bird Festival
in Titusville, Florida, of equal quality as this Rockjumper show. That is a
primary reason for travel. To see something different.
This morning we have, at this minute, a Red-shouldered Hawk, 30 ft. horizonally
and 40 ft. vertical from the corner of our house in one of my large walnuts, at
least 70 ft. tall, which I planted when only a sapling in 1974.
