Birding on this delightful Indian summer day in our backyard "wilderness area" I discovered a very late, very beautiful Northern Waterthrush. It was walking among the rocks and gravel covered water created by a spring. Calling Pat on our two way radios, she rushed down to also see the warbler. The woods seemed to be filled with birds today. I guess they're enjoying this weather as much as we are. Good birding to all of you, Jane Bell Eastern Jefferson County ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== The BIRDKY Mailing List requires you to sign your messages with first & last name, city, & state abbreviation. -------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Kentucky Ornithological Society web site at http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos.htm * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison, Richmond, KY E-mail: gary.ritchison@xxxxxxx
