After participating in a Beckham Bird Club trip to view the Prairie Chickens in Illinois four of us headed to LBL to look for returning migrants. While birding in LBL we totaled 77 species for about 12 hours of birding.
Some highlights for us were-

Red-tailed Hawk that was a partial albino
Broad-winged Hawk
Caspian Terns
Bonaparte's Gulls
Eastern Kingbird
Ruby-cr. Kinglet
Yellow-thr. Vireo
White-eyed Vireo
Parula
Y-rumped Warbler
Yel-thr. Warbler
Prothonotary Warbler
La. Waterthrush
Pine Warbler
The warblers are back. Hooray!!![]()
