A trip to the Science Hill Feed Mill Monday found 5 Eurasian Collared doves 
taking advantage of the spilled corn. Only one of the large group of Hooded 
Mergansers and 5 Redheads remained on Clifty Pond yesterday.

Science Hill is said to have been named by a geologist who had collected rocks 
in the area.
The Science Hill post office opened in 1874.
