A surprise at Clifty Pond this afternoon . . . . a Pied-billed Grebe. Also 2
Spotted Sandpipers (1 adult and 1 juv.), 40-50 Killdeer, 2 Grasshopper Sparrows
and a Song Sparrow nest with 4 eggs.
