Title: Aud. Soc. of KY field trip/Berea Woods

On a day we hoped for lots of migrants (based on what I'd seen lately on the listserve), the birding was quite slow yet very enjoyable for the weather and  variety of habitat. We had 34 species--only 3 warbler types, tho one was an immature prairie that stuck around albeit in a location that didn't provide the best lighting. It was fun eliminating other species and nailing it. We had all 7 woodpeckers. And our first white-throated sparrow for us this fall.
