On a hike led by Ben Albritton we heard and/or saw the following:
Great blue heron
Northern cardinal
Turkey vulture
Blue jay
Prairie warbler
Common yellowthroat
Wood thrush
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Black and White warbler
Kentucky Warbler
Northern parula
Tufted titmouse
Carolina chickadee
Black throated blue warbler (this was a new addition to out species list)
Indigo bunting
Rose-breasted grosbeak
Hairy woodpecker
Eastern towhee
Summer tanager
Louisiana waterthrush
Field sparrow
Chipping sparrow
Carolina wren
White-eyed vireo
Red-eyed vireo
Mourning dove
Tree swallow (taking over the purple martin house)
