We had a small turnout for the walk yesterday out at Maine Chance Farm. It was
a
cool morning, especially with the little bit of a breeze, but it was sunny. We
saw a truly amazing number of Palm Warblers. I have never seen so many on any
outing before. Also had good numbers of Swamp Sparrows. Had some fall plumaged
Bobolinks that gave us a bit of excitement as we tried to turn them into
sharp-tailed sparrows, but still a good bird.
