I went to Spindletop just after work and just before sunset.At this late stage
most of the Canada Geese had congregated on the northside. In amongst them was
the Ross's goose.I managed to see the spectacle of all 700-800 of them coming
in to the pond area while on the other side of my car a few Horned Larks and 4
Lapland Longspurs were in amongst a flock of 70 Snow Buntings.Ronan
