If you missed the CKAS picnic at Masterson Station Park last week, we found a
Kingbird nest near the shelter. I went back on Tuesday and could see two chicks
that were actively begging for food when the adult would come to the nest. They
are getting pretty big already. Not long now before they fledge.
The Kestrel pair were actively hunting. Did not relocate the pair of Blue
Grosbeaks that we had seen on our walk following the picnic.
