20-30 or more Short-eared Owls are spending the winter north of Evansville
in the restored coal fields near Princeton. Directions available if anyone
wants to see them. You can do this in a day-trip by arriving by 2-3 pm and
leaving for home at dark. For those interested, here are photos:
