You are invited to a free workshop on ?Biodiesel Use for Municipal and
County Fleets,? Friday, June 30, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Rockingham
County Government Center, Board of Supervisor?s Room, in Harrisonburg, VA.
We will have coffee, snacks, and a box lunch at the end of the workshop to
either eat on the premises or to take away with you.

With soaring energy costs and increased air pollution throughout the
Shenandoah Valley region, the Shenandoah Resource Conservation and
Development Council and its partners Blue Ridge Clean Fuels (supported by a
grant from the Virginia Div. of Energy)and James Madison University have
teamed to provide information on how your fleet can use biodiesel .
Biodiesel is a cleaner burning fuel that reduces emissions, provides premium
performance to reduce wear and tear and increases engine efficiency,
supports the farm economy, and reduces dependence on petroleum.

From north or south of Harrisonburg: I-81 north or south to the 33 West
Harrisonburg Exit. Follow 33 West, until Mason Street, (Mason St. is before
Court Square/downtown Harrisonburg). There is a traffic light at Mason St.,
take a right on Mason St., get in the left lane and take a left on Gay St.,
(Gay St. is approximately two traffic lights past the intersection of Mason
and 33 W). 20 East Gay Street is the address of the Rockingham County
Government Center; you will see the clock tower.
