Subject: [big12conductdir] Re: Title IX offices
Good afternoon everyone,
Our Title IX Coordinator runs our Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) which
investigates incidents of discrimination, harassment, stalking, and sexual
misconduct and all EO work. Currently we have two full time investigators. Our
Title IX Coordinator does not serve in the official investigator capacity. We
are looking to add an additional investigator in the future.
For student against student claims, a member of our Office of Student Life
serves on the Administrative Review Team along with the OIE investigator.

Hi Sara (and everyone else),
Our Title IX Coordinator runs our Institutional Opportunity and Access (IOA)
office which investigates incidents of discrimination and sexual misconduct and
does some EO work too. Currently we have three full time investigators, with
the director of IOA being a fourth if needed.

All,
I have pasted our banned student notification email text below. This
notification is used when a student is suspended/expelled. We notify a number
of areas on campus. A representative in Academic Affairs or Graduate College is
notified which will pass the notice onto just their academic advisor. There is
also a similar note put in the database used by academic colleges and in our
student information system.
Banned Student Notification

Subject: [big12conductdir] Faculty Notification for Suspensions and Expulsions
Greetings Big XII Conduct Folk,
I am curious if/how your institutions notify faculty when a student is
suspended or expelled from your institution. If the faculty are notified, how
is it done and who does it? Also, what expectations (if any) do you lay out for
them if you share the information (i.e.: making it clear it is need to know)?
Thanks for any insight you can share!
