Stacy,
We use a single adjudicator model for the Preliminary Hearing under our Student
Conduct Code. Here is a link to our website:
http://www.baylor.edu/judicial_affairs/.
Our models for Honor Code violations and TIX violations are different.
Hope this is helpful.

Subject: [big12conductdir] Single Adjudicator Models
Hi Everyone,
I am giving serious consideration to shifting from a board/panel adjudication
model to a single adjudicator model. Do any of use any form of such a model on
your campus?
If so, can you share your thoughts pros/cons?
Also, can you share who serves in the role of the adjudicator?
If you can point me to any flowcharts or policy/process language that would be
helpful as well. Thanks for your help.
Sincerely,
Stacy

Good morning,
I am hoping you will be able to share the following:
1. Is your campus Title IX Coordinator's sole responsibility Title IX cases, or
if they have other duties, and
2. How many Title IX investigators does you campus have?
Thank you!

All,
I have pasted our banned student notification email text below. This
notification is used when a student is suspended/expelled. We notify a number
of areas on campus. A representative in Academic Affairs or Graduate College is
notified which will pass the notice onto just their academic advisor. There is
also a similar note put in the database used by academic colleges and in our
student information system.
Banned Student Notification
Hello -
STUDENT NAME, CWID, has been suspended from the university and banned from
campus, effective DATE and lasting until DATE. He has been suspended for a

Subject: [big12conductdir] Faculty Notification for Suspensions and Expulsions
Greetings Big XII Conduct Folk,
I am curious if/how your institutions notify faculty when a student is
suspended or expelled from your institution. If the faculty are notified, how
is it done and who does it? Also, what expectations (if any) do you lay out for
them if you share the information (i.e.: making it clear it is need to know)?
Thanks for any insight you can share!
