Hello email list subscribers,
You are the first few of many I hope. I want to welcome recent subscribers
to the list to partly just let you know things are up and running - expect
another along these lines in a week time to welcome the next 1000 people or
so.
Over the next few weeks we are hoping to set up some email discussion over
what we want out of the BES Computational Ecology SIG. The organising group
also have a few proposals prepared to kick things off with. Feel free to
make any suggestions.
I will email more details once I think the rate of new captures has died
down sufficiently (I'll fit a Bayesian capture model and work out when it is
95% probable that no one else will join within a week). Expect those details
in a week then!
