Good morning Beavers!
I hope you all had a great holiday break! As you may have seen, the quarterly
Gilwell Gazett was emailed to everyone on our Wood Badge course. In that email
everyone was reminded about sending updates to your Troop Guides about their
progress on their ticket goals. So here I am reminding you to send me updates
on your progress...
This doesn't have to be a big deal, just send me list, by goal, what your
progress has been. Something like this:
Goal 1) Not started yetGoal 2) Completed 12/10/2021Goal 3) In progress,
expect Jan 22 completionGoal 4) Not started yetGoal 5) Training completed
11/24/2001, activity scheduled for April 1, 2021
This is totally made up, but if you maintain a list like this, it will help
both you and me keep track of your progress. I know some of you have completed
goals. I know some of you have goals in progress. Remember, if you complete a
goal, LET ME KNOW! And remember, each SMART goal you wrote has listed what you
need to show me to show that it was completed, a certificate for training,
pictures, presentations, guides, whatever it was that shows me you completed it.
You have less than 16 months to complete your goals... that might seem like a
lot, but that deadline can creep up fast if you're not paying attention. My
goal is to have all my Beavers complete their tickets and earn their beads, so
whatever help you may need in getting your goals accomplished, please let me
know.
So please get back with me about your progress by the end of this week, because
Scoutmaster Brigitte is going to be asking me for my report, so your help is
appreciated!
