[bcbirdclub] White Bluebird Eggs?

The eggs on the left are normal Eastern Bluebird eggs. When I first found
the eggs a few days ago in the nest on the right, my first thought was that
they were Tree Swallow eggs because Tree Swallow eggs are white, and there
are Tree Swallows nesting in some of the nest boxes at our place. After I
saw a Bluebird coming and going today from the box I took another look. The
eggs are not pointed enough to be Tree Swallow eggs, but they are the same
shape and size (though they look a bit bigger in the photo) as Bluebird
eggs. Bluebirds do occasionally lay white eggs, though it has been my
experience that when a white egg is found, there is usually only one in a
clutch of four or five that is white.
