Get ready for the second annual Warbler Walk at the Thornhills. Last year's
walk produced 39 species including 12 warbler species, a Golden Eagle, and a
great locked-foot spiral by a pair of ravens. A complete report with
pictures is available on the club <http://www.rcbirds.org/> web site under
the Trip Reports link. Come early (around 8 o'clock) for coffee, tea, soft
drinks, and pastries and birding from the deck. Later in the morning, we'll
walk up the hollow to look for migrants along with the usual residents. A
good pair of waterproof footwear is recommended because the hollow is
typically very wet with dew. Lunch will be hamburgers and hot dogs with
chips, drinks, and dessert. You need to sign up for this event so we can
plan the food quantities. Deadline is Thursday, September 20.

We look forward to having you.

Jerry/Jane
