I went walking up the mountain across from our home near Pikeville yesterday
morning and founs quite a bit of activity.
The best of the walk were a Brown Thrasher and Hooded Warbler. Other birds seen
were:

Chipping Sparrow
Downey Woodpecker
Brown Headed Cowbird
American Goldfinch
Tufted Titmouse
Eastern Phoebe
Carolina Chickadee
Song Sparrow
Northern Cardinal
Carolina Wren
White Throated Sparrow
Turkey Vulture
American Robin
Broad Winged Hawk
Mourning Dove

We still are having a good number of White Throated Sparrows at the feeder and
several times this week there have been juncos.
