Peggy,
I’m not sure how much influence the storm is having on the herons, but I know
it’s not unusual to see several Great Blues in the same area at this time of
year during migration.

Just as Jessica was leaving today 11am, she came back in and said, "Mom,
there's something you need to see." There were 17 Great Blue Herons perched in
a tree in the pasture beside our house. We see the occasional one or two fly
by, but never this many. Is this pre-storm behavior?
