[bcbirdclub] Rough-legged Hawk - Russell County

This afternoon Laverne and I drove through the Elk Garden area of Russell
County. We saw a juvenile light morph Rough-legged Hawk. It was kiting and
hunting over a field along Rt 80 between the Mountain Road intersection and the
Elk Garden Road intersection. I believe this is the same area that Bob Riggs
and Mary Anne Spicer saw a Rough-legged Hawk on the Blackford CBC. We also saw
an American Kestrel and several White-crowned Sparrows.
