I'm with you Dave. I have seen Red-tailed Hawks feeding on deer carcasses, but
I have never seen a Red-shouldered doing it. Interesting.

I totally forgot to mention in the previous post about the 2 hawks Susan & I
saw today. There is a deer carcass near the road between my parents' home &
ours. We've been seeing crows there, but today were surprised to find 2
Red-shouldered Hawks having lunch. I've seen Red-tails doing this but this was
