Joe, I have always thought that Ravens were smarter than most other birds. They
also seem to "play" on the wind just for the enjoyment of it.
David, just after you posted your list from 4/9/07 including 2 Field Sparrows,
I looked out to see a Field Sparrow under our feeder. All of the good field
marks were there: Reddish-brown cap (not as dark as a Chipping Sparrow), gray
face, white eye-ring and pink bill.
