The Russell County Bird Club will meet Tuesday, October 23, in one of the
Community Rooms near the Lebanon Town Hall. October is the month for
election of officers. The program will be an HBO special which recently
aired called Birders: The Central Park Effect. This is an interesting look
at birding in an urban setting with a good sample (117) of the many species
of birds that migrate through or nest in Central Park. For those who are
interested, we'll meet for Dutch treat supper at the Lebanon KFC at 6:30
prior to the meeting at 7:30. Everyone is invited to the meeting and supper
social hour. You don't have to be a club member to participate.
