The rain filled the Mud Hole with water and birds. There were four duck species (Mallard, Wood Duck, Blue-winged Teal, and Northern Shoveler with BWT being the most numerous with about 40), a large flock of Yellowlegs (more than thirty of Greater and Lesser combined), several Pectoral Sandpipers, and at least one Dowitcher (likely Short-billed). The field had 50+ Canada Geese. Attached are a couple of photos showing the BWT and Yellowlegs in flight. Jerry
