Well Roger when I saw your Ruby throated Warbler listed I was not to concerned
or surprised. You have such a magical yard and wonderful birding home if there
is anywhere in the world where a Ruby throated Warbler would be found it would
be in your yard! Thanks for the great photos and the lists.

Today Clancey Deel and another friend came up to watch the continuing
migration through our property here on Compton Mountain. We had a great day
with birds moving through until the afternoon. We ended the day with 57
species with 14 warbler species. Interesting birds were Gray-cheeked,
Swainson's and Wood Thrushes, 3 Yellow-billed Cuckoos in one tree, a
Red-headed Woodpecker and 2 Red-breasted Nuthatches. The most surprising
bird of the day was a FOS Pine Siskin. It seems really early in the fall for
this winter visitor to be arriving.
