Ed, Great pics... Your critter appears to be either an "Assassin" or "Wheel" bug. I have some on my site at: http://www.pbase.com/rkretz/misc_insects. Nice pics. Michelle, Chazzy, and I made a quick hike up Lynn Camp this morning. Birding was slow but we did find about 9 species of warbler. Best bird was a young Broad-wing that sat on a snag above us so we could get good looks. We also heard several Red-shouldered Hawks along the way. Here's a link to some hike pictures. http://www.pbase.com/aquilaet/lynncamp3 Can anyone ID the bugs that were crawling on the Black-eyed Susans? About every other flower had one of these on it. It almost looks like a cross between a katydid and an aphid. Ed and Michelle ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Luggage? GPS? Comic books?
