This is what the Red-shouldered Hawk nestlings looked like here on Compton
Mountain on April 29.
This is what they looked like today, May 13. They seem to have grown quite a
bit in 14 days. I thought there were only two, but three can be seen in this
second photo.
The one on the left was flapping its wings vigorously, almost lifting off
the nest. They will probably leave the nest soon. I didn't realize they
matured that quickly.
Notice that new greenery has been added to the nest.
