As I was driving north on US 19 a little after noon today, I spotted a Golden Eagle. The bird was low but quickly rising when I first saw it. It was over the Stuart Farm just south of the entrance. Since it was so low at first, I wondered if it might have just lifted off. It was not carrying anything that I could see. Jerry
