[bcbirdclub] Flannagan Dam today

I enjoyed the warm weather this afternoon while checking the lake for waterfowl
and such. It was actually very slow going until I got to the marina area. The
juvenile Common Loon, a Pied-billed Grebe, 2 Canada Geese, Great-blue Heron and
kingfisher were all in that area. It looked like I was going to leave with no
eagle sightings but at the last overlook I spotted the pair of eagles at the
nest! I have been looking for a nest for a few years now so it’s very nice to
see. I’m sure some of the fishermen over there have known about this but I am
pleased to report that it is located inside the Breaks CBC circle!
