Subject: Feeder Flock
A very energetic feeder flock moved through our yard Sunday evening. I was
able to catch a few of them with my camera. The 2 poor quality pics of the
female Bay-breasted Warbler I've included for I.D. purpose only. The Palm
Warblers were the first I've seen this fall. I noted at least 3 separate
Cape May Warblers in the group as well as a Blue-headed Vireo. Sadly, a
Northern Waterthrush crashed to it's death on one of our windows.
Earlier in the day, Cousin Dan and I enjoyed watching a Yellow-billed Cuckoo
dice up a juicy caterpillar.
