Dear Fellow Birder,

 <http://hogisland.audubon.org/> Hog Island Audubon Camp in Maine is home to
legendary 6-day, 5-night birding programs that have been inspiring adults
and teens for over 75 years.  We're continuing this tradition in 2013 with
hands-on instructors Kenn Kaufman, Scott Weidensaul, Clay and Pat Sutton,
and many more.  Every summer program includes a trip to Eastern Egg Rock,
home of the restored Atlantic Puffin colony, by Project Puffin director
Steve Kress.  We've also added a hot new camp called The Arts of Birding, as
well as expanding the programming for last year's favorite, Fall Migration
and Monhegan Island.  

As webmaster for Russell County Bird Club, I'm writing you to request help
in getting the word out about the scholarships available for these programs.
Last year, 33% of the participants came to camp on full or partial
scholarships.  The National Audubon Society has again made

scholarships available for 2013 camp participants.  The deadline to apply is
January 15, 2013.  We would very much appreciate your help in spreading the
word about our scholarships and programs to ensure that nobody misses this
opportunity.

website announcement, as well as pictures and testimonials, to assist you in
providing this information to members.  Feel free to use individual pieces
