Wish we could have found that bird on Sparrow Day. Interestingly, Roger, we had
2 White-crowned show up at our feeder Sunday morn. Once again we have same day
sightings. Happens a lot!
By the way , I couldn't resist going by our family's cemetary yesterday after
the Anhinga sighting of Saturday and I'm glad I did. The power-line cut beside
the cemetary offered up a House Wren , Ruby-cr Kinglet and a Brown Thrasher. A
Red-sh Hawk sailed overhead this time, alas, no Anhinga. Yellow-rumped Warblers
and Chipping Sparrows were thick as thieves!

Yesterday, Oct 19, our FOS (First Of the Season) White-crowned Sparrow showed
up under our bird feeder, but the first one of the season for the county was at
David and Susan Raines' home at Breaks on Saturday, October 11.
